Lava Hair Studio has returned home to Dawsonville after an inspiring and busy month. Along with Lava’s ongoing weekly in-salon education, monthly out-of-salon education, and AVEDA advanced classes, we found time to experience even more. March 1-3, Lava was in Chicago for the Midwest Beauty Show, the largest in America. The show was full of amazing artists with inspirational techniques—international talent such as Nick Arrojo from TLC’s What Not To Wear; Angus Mitchell (son of the co-founder of Paul Mitchell Systems); and the man bringing fashion back to the hair design industry, Robert Cromeans. Karen believes that the products, education, and professional standards of Aveda, combined with their passion and experience, is a winning formula for an upscale salon. With a focus on developing herself and her staff, she created Lava Hair Studio as a source of the highest quality service in a spa-like environment. As a long-time customer, I can testify to a relaxing, rejuvenating experience that I look forward to with each visit.
